What is ozonated olive oil, in plain language?
Olive oil with pure oxygen bubbled slowly through it over days. The oil takes up the oxygen and thickens into a soft ointment that holds it in a stable form. That trapped oxygen is what makes it naturally antimicrobial and soothing on skin. Nothing else is added.
How is ozonated glycerine different from the oil?
Glycerine holds active oxygen for longer than oil does, absorbs faster and leaves no greasy layer behind. People tend to prefer the glycerine for everyday face and hand use, and the oil ointment for dry, cracked or damaged skin that needs something richer.
Why does it smell and look the way it does?
A slightly sharp, clean smell and a pale, thick texture are normal and are signs the product is active. We add no fragrance and no colourant, so what you smell is the ozonated oil itself.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
The ingredient lists are short, which usually helps. Even so, patch-test on your inner arm and wait a day before using anything on your face. Stop if you get persistent redness or irritation.
How should I store it, and how long does it last?
Keep it in a cool, dark cupboard and closed tightly — heat and sunlight are what destroy the active oxygen. In hot weather the ointment and capsules are happiest in the fridge. Always follow the batch date printed on your product.
Can I use it on broken skin or a wound?
Our Woundcare Gauze is made for exactly that, and the ointment is often used on grazes and small cuts. Anything deep, infected or slow to heal needs a nurse or doctor guiding the treatment.
Is it tested on animals?
No. Our products are not tested on animals.
What does delivery cost and how long does it take?
Shipping is a flat R150 anywhere in South Africa, and free on orders over R1 500. We pack and dispatch orders ourselves, and we email you as soon as your parcel is on its way.
How do I pay?
Place your order on the site and we will email you an invoice with payment details, then ship as soon as payment reflects. Card payment at checkout is being added shortly.
Can my shop or pharmacy stock Infinity Ozone?
